Year 2023

In 2023, five alpine pastures within the Kaisergebirge, Hefferthorn-Fellhorn-Sonnberg and Spertental protected landscape areas will be visited on behalf of the Tyrolean Nature Conservation Department and maintenance and conservation measures for alpine biotopes will be agreed with the owners. The measures concern rough pastures such as calcareous grassland or bristle grassland, dwarf shrub heaths, moors and other relevant biotopes that are typical of alpine pastures. The additional measure to the alpine pasture premium serves to compensate for conservation-relevant maintenance measures. It aims to create synergies between alpine pasture management and nature conservation.
