The focus in this project was on the application of lay monitoring systems in the European protected area Lendspitz-Maiernigg. For example, the Environmental DNA method was used for amphibian monitoring in the lake outflow. The underwater camera was also tested extensively this year.
Together with interested laymen, we tested different Citizen Science Apps using woodpecker and cavity trees in the European Protected Area such as qfield, Inaturalist and did grasshopper monitoring.
