“Management of Protected Areas” – Joint Degree Austria/Nepal for the Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) region

The Master’s programme “Management of Protected Areas” based at the Alps-Adriatic University of Klagenfurt is very successful and attracts students from all over the world, including from Nepal. The idea of developing a joint study programme together with Tribhuvan University and the University of Kathmandu arose on the basis of earlier contacts. In the context of this project, a project application for developing the joint degree was prepared together with the Nepalese partners and submitted to the Austrian Development Cooperation.
