Kick-off for DiBioN2K in Padua
Joint digital solutions for biodiversity data and Natura 2000 management
On 19 June, the kick-off meeting of the Interreg project DiBioN2K, “Digital Research for Biodiversity in Natura 2000”, took place in Padua. The cross-border project between Austria and Italy will run until March 2028.
DiBioN2K aims to make biodiversity and management data from Natura 2000 sites more comparable and easier to use. To achieve this, data formats, assessment methods and technical standards will be harmonised, and shared digital tools for ecological planning and protected area management will be developed.
During the kick-off meeting, the project partners coordinated the first activities and next steps. As a project partner, we contribute to the technical implementation of the project.
