Dark Sky Reserve Certified
A milestone for the protection of the night sky!
We are delighted that the Eisenwurzen Region was officially certified as a Dark Sky Reserve by DarkSky International on March 17, 2026. This represents a significant achievement for the protection of the night sky and biodiversity. It is also a success to which we were proud to actively contribute through the preparation and support of the application documentation.
We wish the protected areas every success in their joint commitment to preserving natural darkness and biodiversity!
