24 hours, more than 1000 species
The GEO Nature Day on 15 and 16 July was a complete success. 71 enthusiastic experts and their companions were able to identify over 1000 animal, fungal and plant species around St. Lorenzen within 24 hours, according to a first projection. A special highlight was the moor and the surrounding fens, where special species were found. We would like to thank the Biosphärenpark Nockberge Biosphere Reserve and all participants for their commitment.
