The aim of the large scale international project IPAM-Toolbox was to improve, develop and make use of instruments for the integrated management of protected areas. In the project management work package, E.C.O. shared responsibility for the overall running of the project with the lead partner, Department 20 – Land use planning of the Government of Carinthia. This involved preparing and submitting the project, detailed planning and the conclusion of contracts, ongoing coordination and control, quality assurance, PR and processing the outcomes. In the course of the project E.C.O. successfully undertook numerous presentations, events and pilot activities together with partners from Italy, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
