Planning a protected area: We can accompany you through all the steps involved in setting up a protected area: Planning handbook or planning guidelines, communication and participation to accompany your planning, ascertaining the basic principles, demarcation and zoning, developing the outline in terms of the legal requirements and the contents, achieving national (e.g. national park) and international classifications (e.g. biosphere reserve, world heritage, Ramsar area).
In addition, for existing protected areas we can develop overall concepts, management plans, regional development programmes, visitor, education and tourism concepts, and also plans for landscape management, protection of species and biotope conservation.
